Fresh from the oven: a small ramekin of handmade glass blackberries, each internally lit with an LED light display that changes slowly and continuously over time. This is a smaller version of the glass bowl blackberries, perfect as a gift or centerpiece for your dinner table.
 
For this design I wanted something a little smaller and simpler than the larger glass bowl that would still retain the essence of the concept. I settled on a ceramic ramekin with a lightly etched rim - they look great in the kitchen or on a sunny window ledge. They function the same as their larger glass cousin, with an on/off switch on the bottom and a thin USB charging dock with a 12 foot cord that stores as a spool on the underside of the dock. This allows you unspool just the right amount of thin cord to get to an outlet (USB charger included). 
 
The above video shows one small portion of the light sequence to give you an idea of what the lights do - the full display runs through many more patterns and speeds that really need to be seen in person to appreciate. The intention is to have a continuously changing dynamic that is entertaining to watch without being too distracting or abrasive. 
 
There's also a little Easter egg hidden 'somewhere' in the design, but that's all I will say!
